When trying to change your current lifestyle to a healthier one, preparation is key. The week you decide to start, I advise you to prepare your meals. If not prepare your meals, make a list of what you will be eating and try to stick to it! Make it fun and get stickers to paste each time you’ve stuck to your plan.
Below is a link to my shopping list which i usually use when shopping for healthier items. I usually try to stick to this list making sure i don’t purchase any unnecessary items.
With the spices i usually try to stick to the most natural ones but often use what i have at home. I mean we have to have some flavor right!
Some tips when shopping:
- Don’t shop while hungry. This usually leads to the purchasing of unnecessary items
- Refrain from walking down the sweet aisle
- Make a list of everything you need and try to stick to it
